Since leaving Keele University, Ros Kane has had a longstanding fascination for how children are raised.
Her experience over many years, as well as being a parent and grandparent, has led to her two-volume book, Nothing More Important.
Nothing More Important is the first publication worldwide to describe in depth and detail all the projects (known to Ros) which prepare or have prepared children from infant school to sixth form about the many realities of parenting.
In it she argues that imaginative, experiential, memorable parenthood education needs to be a core curriculum subject in every school, discusses the reasons for resistance to this idea, problems doing research and what schools should be for.
The book is available from Ros, £10 for one volume, £15 for both volumes, including postage.
